Overview
Using bold and aggressive strategies, Alex works to leverage a resolution to his clients’ matters at the earliest possible opportunity. The vigorous advocacy he consistently delivers is grounded in his continuous examination and adaptation of those strategies and his adeptness at finding the often-critical details that others miss.
Whether it's a breach of contract claim, professional negligence suit, payment dispute, or a catastrophic job site injury claim, Alex uses his years of experience to guide clients through these high exposure matters to a successful resolution. From managing a crisis situation through discovery, trial, and final disposition, Alex helps clients navigate these complex and high-exposure matters with clarity and confidence.
In addition to his trial work, including having tried numerous civil and criminal cases to jury verdict, Alex has assisted clients with handling and responding to investigations by various government agencies for civil, criminal, and regulatory issues, including OSHA, the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC), the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Texas Real Estate Commission, and the Texas Railroad Commission.
A University Scholars graduate of the Baylor University Honors College, Alex earned his law degree from Baylor University School of Law, where he was on the Dean’s List, won multiple moot court and mock trial competitions, and served as Executive Vice President of the Student Bar Association.
Alex is very active in the legal community, having been twice appointed by the State Bar President to serve a three-year term on the State Bar Committee on Administration of the Rules of Evidence. Alex is also a former two-term director on the board of the Texas Young Lawyers’ Association.
Outside of the office, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife Kim, and children, Laura, Charlie, and Jamie. He also volunteers his time with several local non-profits, serves on the Public Safety Committee for the City of University Park, and tries to find time for the occasional round of golf.
Alex is admitted to practice in all Texas state courts as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Western, Northern, and Southern Districts of Texas and the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas
