Overview
As a Senior Associate at ZBG, Andy Ciganek brings a strong background in litigation to the firm and clients. A former plaintiff’s attorney, Andy has successfully handled general personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, aviation, maritime and class action lawsuits. He has served the legal needs of labor unions, including pensions and welfare funds, and has developed strong research and analysis skills through his dealings with ERISA.
Andy values his relationships with colleagues as well as opposing counsel, and has worked closely with expert witnesses, defeated summary judgments, and has experience in appellate law. He has worked on several high-profile cases, including the crash of Asiana Flight 214.
Prior to moving to Texas, for the last few years, Andy worked at a large regional defense firm in Philadelphia. Outside the office, Andy enjoys running and exploring Texas, taking in everything his new home has to offer.
He is admitted to practice in Texas, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and California.
